I started WabFab almost 10 years ago because I loved wheeling and wanted to build up my Toyota more and go wheeling more. WabFab has now become more than a hobby, it is now a 2nd full time job and I could not tell you the last time I went wheeling. I have no desire for my livelihood to be dependent on the off-road market so I am cutting back on WabFab. So just what does this mean? 1. No more forums. Cancelled my vendor stars on Pirate and TTORA. 2. Less shop time and more family time. Both my boys play sports so I will be attending all their games and this is pretty much a year round thing. 3. Still selling all the parts you see on the website and will be adding more. 4. Doing less customer projects and more of my projects.
I am fortunate enough that I don't have to sell anything to stay in business. I can just work on my own Toyotas in my nice insulated and cooled shop and forget the world. A lot of folks hate me for this because they wish they could do the same. I don't blame them. It is truly a blessing. If you love Toyotas and want to buy stuff from WabFab, talk Toyotas or go wheeling. Great. If you want to buy your Toyota parts from someone else, badmouth WabFab and go wheeling. Great. You see either way, I've already won because I am doing what I love and nothing you do either way bothers me one bit.
