Front Sway Bar Quick Disconnect Installation Instructions PDF Print E-mail
1. After coating your OEM sway bar end links with some lubricant the day/night before, remove both and save them as you might want to put them back on if you ever decide to sell the vehicle.

1. After coating your OEM sway bar end links with some lubricant the day/night before, remove both and save them as you might want to put them back on if you ever decide to sell the vehicle.

2. Adjust the lower nylock on the long threaded stud using a 19mm wrench on the nylock w/ another 19mm wrench on the flat part of the rod end (19mm=3/4”) in such a way that the sway bar will be level with the bottom of the lower bushing and washer. You can use your OEM sway bar end links for reference. *Install the Grade 10.9 stud into the hole in the lower control arm. The lower control arm goes in between the two nylocks.

3. Choose a pin position so that the pin will not bind or contact the rod end and can be reached easily. I recommend a 45 degree upward angle towards the tire.

4. Try not to accidentally adjust the inner nylock with respect to the stud or the rod end will be too loose or too tight. You can hold the stud in place and keep it from rotating away from your desired angular location by temporarily inserting a small screwdriver into the pin hole.

5. During use and shipping the inner nylock is “tightened” up against the rod end so that there is no play but so that the pin can still be easily removed. Adjust if necessary.

6. Installation of the disconnects involves inserting the long threaded stud through the swaybar and putting on the top bushing, washer and nylock; and then sliding the rod end over the lower stud and inserting the pin.

7. Insert the hitch pin and then install bushings with the raised portions towards the bar and washers on the outside (lower nylock-washer-bushing-swaybar-bushing-washer-top nylock).

8. Do not tighten the top nylock fully until both sides are installed then fully tighten both sides.

9. Reverse for removal.

10. When disconnected, the hitch pin can be stored by clipping it through the rod end and the entire end link is removed with only the lower stud remaining attached.

If you have any questions about the installation of this product, please contact us for help before attempting to modify the disconnects in any way.

Slider Adapter

Slider Adapter for Hi-Lift Jacks

bareblackredThe Slider Adapter is what started it all...the first product ever offered by WabFab Off-Road several years ago.  It became popular with many in the Toyota off-road community and has spread mostly through word of mouth and the Toyota online community.  It has undergone numerous transformations and upgrades since its inception, some at the suggestion of our customers, and others due to our desire to continue to produce a high quality product that meets our own expectations.  Often imitated...NEVER duplicated!

Bikini Top Kits

Bikini Top Kits 1984-1989 4Runners

bikinitopjosh1A front channel that secures the bikini soft top to the cab of the 4Runner using the OEM hard top hardware.  The rear bow, a new unique two piece design not seen on other bikini top kits and exclusive to WabFab Off-Road, attaches to the OEM roll bar via included hardware and prevents the bikini top from sagging. We recommend using a strap (not included) from the bow to the roll bar at the top for speeds over 30 mph.
