1. Remove the factory hardtop as per the instructions in your Factory Service Manual or Owners' Manual (you can find them online as well).
Bikini Top and Channel 2. Attach the sides marked "driver" and "passenger" using the included hardware. This makes your channel for securing the bikini top to the cab. Simply tighten until snug and do not over tighten as once you attach the channel to the cab you will want a bit of play to get things properly aligned. 3. Attach the bikini top to the channel. Evaluate where the center of the bikini top is relative to the center of the channel and slide the bikini into the channel using the plastic strip at the front of the bikini top. Once installed, double check to make sure the bikini top is centered in the channel. 4. Attach the bikini top and channel to the cab. Place the bikini top and channel onto the ledge on the rear of the cab. Loosely install the two center bolts (you will need four from your hardtop). Since the rubber seal will be in different conditions on different trucks, now might be a good time to recondition it before you finish the install so you get a good water tight seal. The holes in all four brackets are oversized for final adjustment for the tightest fit. Next install the two outermost bolts. Please note that you will have to bend the channel down a little bit on both ends to get the bolts in as this provides for a tight fit. Once all the bolts are started firmly in the holes, tighten them up so they are snug. If your channel does not curve to fit the outer edge on the rear of the cab to your liking, please finish installing the rest of your kit first, then you can massage the ends with a rubber mallet while on the cab edge. Do not massage the shape of the channel without the bikini top in the slot of the channel or you will damage the channel beyond repair. 5. Attach the straps to the bed wherever you decide works best for you. The footman loops are included in your hardware kit. Attach them at the rear of the 4Runner, either on the outer edge next to the tailgate or in the floor pan below. The straps for the bikini top will be too long so plan on cutting them down and restitching them or doubling them up and restitching. Rear Bow 2. Wrap the top center of the bow with the insulation taking care to measure ahead of time. You will want the insulation to be on the rear bow everywhere the bikini top touches it, but not sticking out the sides. 3. Attach the bow to the factory roll bar using the supplied hardware in the two threaded holes on the inside of the roll bar. 4. Adjust the bow so that it fits snugly up against the underside of the bikini top to give it shape and support for when driving at highway speeds and to keep water from gathering on top of the bikini top in the rain.
6. Adjust as necessary over time. If you have any questions during installation, please do not hesitate to Contact Us.

5. Once the desired position is set, snug down the bolts and use a strap or a bungee cord from the top center of the roll bar to the center of the top of the bow to keep the bow from being pushed down when driving at highway speeds.
